DAGOBERTO MUÑOZ DÍAZ

Dagoberto is a founding partner of the Red del Vino (6th region).

At the age of 17 he arrived with his parents and three brothers at the El Carmen farm in the Chépica commune. He studied until second year of high school, leaving his studies to dedicate himself to working in the fields.

During the Agrarian Land Reform process, his employer voluntarily gave up the farm and lived in a settlement for 7 years with excellent results. When Dagoberto obtained his 12 hectare plot, for 20 years he dedicated himself to planting corn and having a cattle farm for consumption of meat and milk.

In the late 90’s he decided to plant vineyards. Which he maintains to this day, producing Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, he has been able to support his family with the fruit of his work in the fields, made up of four women and one man.
